December 1, 2008 06:25 PM This picture was taken from the Horseshoe Casino/Hotel towercam shortly before 6 PM. I added a little information about the planets and their distances from the earth (from Sid Shirer-The Celestial Expert At KTBS). This formation of the moon, Venus and Jupiter won't be seen at this time of day for the next 5 years.
